Hillrose Street and writer/director Jesse Pomeroy (“World Full of Nothing”) are putting the finishing touches on “Hell Mountain” starring Catherine Lidstone and Taylor Dooley (“The Adventures of Sharkboy and Lavagirl in 3D”).
In the ‘grim fairy tale,’ Lidstone plays Josie, a reporter who has fallen mysteriously ill after researching an abandoned house in the remote town of Bell Mountain (or as the locals like to call it, “Hell Mountain”). Josie’s best friend, Eden (Dooley) drags her boyfriend along with her to get the images and video that Josie is missing for her story. However, it doesn’t take long for them to figure out that nothing is as it seems in the creepy, frozen-in-time residence.
“Hell Mountain” will begin a festival run in early 2017.
