This news makes me happy for two reasons. Firstly, I’m glad to see any aspiring actor make it in this industry. Secondly, I’m glad to have the privilege of saying I knew him before he was famous!

Chris Greene started his career in independent cinema, appearing mostly in crime-dramas and horror films such as B.F.F., Fiend Fatale, Legends 2: A Halloween Tale, and Unbridled Chaos – a short film he produced and directed. In recent years, however, he’s steadily booked guest appearances on hit shows like “Being Mary Jane,” “The Other Side,” “Single Ladies,” “Sleepy Hollow” and “The Vampire Diaries.” Let me not forget to mention his featured role in Birth of a Nation!
It was revealed tonight by Deadline that Greene has joined the cast of Robert Kirkman’s Cinemax series, “Outcast.” The exorcism drama, produced by Chris Black, follows a young man who’s been plagued by demonic possession since his birth. Now older and ready to concur demons of all sorts, he begins to explore the reasons behind the supernatural manifestations and why they continue to hinder him, time after time.
Greene will play the role of Oscar, a cult member who participates in the craft at a church in Rome. Oscar is rumored to appear in at least two episodes of season two.
Don’t forget to look for him in sequel Rings in February 2017, too!
