The October People and Director John Portanova’s top-notch Bigfoot thriller, Valley Of The Sasquatch has been picked up for US distribution by Uncork’d Entertainment and High Octane Pictures. The film has been renamed to Hunting Grounds for US release, but will remain Valley Of The Sasquatch for all foreign territories. There is no date set as of now for a US release but that announcement should be coming soon.

The film stars Horror Society favorites Bill Oberst Jr. (Circus of the Dead, Deadly Revisions), Jason Vail (Abraham Lincoln vs. Zombies, Gut) with other cast members including Miles Joris-Peyrafitte, David Saucedo, D’Angelo Midili, Connor Conrad.

Plot Synopsis
After losing their home following a devastating loss, a father and son are forced to move to an old family cabin. Neither reacts well to being thrown into this new world. The son’s attempts to relate to his father are complicated when two old friends arrive for a weekend of hunting. This trip into the forest will unearth not only buried feelings of guilt and betrayal, but also a tribe of Sasquatch that are determined to protect their land.
