  • 1974 – Jennifer Siebel, who appeared in “April Fool’s Day” and “Dinocroc.”
  • 1972 – Robin Tunney, who starred in the films “The Zodiac” (2005), “End of Days” and “The Craft.”
  • 1967 – Mia Sara, who starred in “Legend,” “Time Cop”, “Daughter of Darkness” and “The Maddening.”
  • 1965 – Sadie Frost, portratyed “Lucy Westenra” in Francis Ford Coppola’s “Bram Stoker’s Dracula”.
  • 1950 – Daria Nicolodi, longtime partner of Dario Argento and mother of Asia Argento, she starred in “Deep Red” wrote and starred in “Suspiria”, “Beyond the Door II”, “Inferno”, “Tenebre”, “Phenomena”, “Opera” and “Mother of Tears”.
  • 1920 – David Peel who played “Baron Meinster” in “Brides of Dracula” and appeared in “The Hands of Orlac.”
  • 1920 – Anthony Sagar who appeared in “X the Unknown,” “Jack the Ripper” and “Carry On Screaming.”
  • 1919 – Louis Jourdan who played “Dracula” in the 1977 BBC TV movie “Count Dracula” and appeared in the films “Swamp Thing” and “The Return of Swamp Thing.”
  • 1914 – Harry Lauter who appeared in “It Came From Beneath the Sea,” “Creature With the Atom Brain,” “Escape From the Planet of the Apes” and “The Werewolf.”
  • 1897 – Moe Howard of “Three Stooges” fame.

DIED ON THIS DAY IN HORROR HISTORY

  • 2016 – Anton Yelchin, likable actor who was a rising star. He appeared in “Star Trek” reboots, “Fright Night”, “Terminator Salvation”, “Odd Thomas”, “Only Lovers Left Alive”, “Burying the Ex”, “Green Room” and so much more. He died at the all too young age of 27 from an automobile accident.
  • 2012 – Richard Lynch, actor known for his bad-guy portrayals in films such as “God Told Me To”, “Bad Dreams”, “Alligator II: The Mutation”, “Rob Zombie’s Halloween”, “Rob Zombie’s The Lords of Salem” and the TV film “Vampire”.
  • 1997 – Mark Patrick Carducci who wrote the screen plays for “Neon Maniacs,” “Pumpkinhead” and was writer/director/producer of “Flying Saucers Over Hollywood: The Plan 9 Companion,” passed away at the age of 42.
