Columbia Pictures upcoming shark thriller, The Shallows is turning out to be my most anticipated film this summer! Today takes us to The Beginning with a brand new trailer. The film stars Blake Lively as a young woman who happens to go surfing in a great white shark’s hunting ground and it doesn’t turn out well for her. In the taut thriller The Shallows, when Nancy (Blake Lively) is surfing on a secluded beach, she finds herself on the feeding ground of a great white shark. Though she is stranded only 200 yards from shore, survival proves to be the ultimate test of wills, requiring all of Nancy’s ingenuity, resourcefulness, and fortitude.
