Sources are reporting that Bill Skarsgård is in the final negotiations to play Pennywise in the upcoming remake of Stephen King’s IT.
Bill Skarsgård is most known for playing Roman Godfrey in horror’s “Hemlock Grove” from 2013 to 2015 as well as for playing Matthew in The Divergent Saga: Allegiant, which is currently in a handful of theaters nation-wide after taking the #2 spot at the box office in March 2016.
Pennywise was played by Tim Curry when the original movie was released in two halves in 1990.
The IT remake is currently scheduled for a September 8, 2017 release through New Line Cinema.
