  • 2016 – Abe Vigoda, wonderful character actor known for his role of “Phil Fish” in the ABC sitcom “Barney Miller (TV Series)” and “The Godfather.” His genre roles included “Monsters (TV Series)”, “Tales From The Darkside (TV Series)” and many more. He passed away at the age of 94.
  • 2012 – Ian Abercrombie, he appeared in numerous films and TV shows including “The Hound of the Baskervilles”, “Young Frankenstein”, “Blood Beach”, “Catacombs”, “Warlock”, “Puppet Master III: Toulon’s Revenge”, “Army of Darkness” and many more. He passed away at the age of 77.
  • 2000 – Sci-fi author, A.E. van Vogt, passed away at the age of 87. His novels included “Slan,” “The Changeling” and “The World of Null-A.”
  • 1992 – José Ferrer who has appeared in the films “The Sentinel,” “Dracula’s Dog” and “The Swarm,” passed away at the age of 83.
  • 1973 – Edward G. Robinson, who appeared in “Soylent Green,” passed away at the age of 79. He originally tested for the part of “Dr. Zauis” in “Planet of the Apes.”.
