- 2013 – Don Mitchell, starred in “Scream Blacula Scream.” He passed away at the age of 70.
- 2008 – Character actor Robert Prosky, who appeared in the films “Christine,” “Gremlins 2” and “The Keep,” passed away at the age of 77.
- 2004 – Dimebag Darrell, I would be remiss if I didn’t mention his death on the 10th anniversary. He was the guitarist for the metal band Pantera. He died when a fan jumped onstage, shot him and three other people at the concert. He was 38.
- 1983 – Slim Pickens who appeared in “The Howling,” “Dr. Strangelove” and “The Black Hole,” passed away at the age of 64.
