  • 1997 – Charles Hallahan, character actor who appeared in “Things That Go Bump”, “Warlock: The Armageddon”, “Cast a Deadly Spell”, “Twilight Zone: The Movie”, “Nightwing” and “The Thing.” He was 54.
  • 1982 – Bob Kelljan, who directed the films “Scream, Blacula Scream,” “Count Yorga” and “The Return of Count Yorga,” passed away at the age of 52.
  • 1981 – Jack Albertson, best known for playing “The Man,” on the TV series “Chico and the Man,” passed away at the age of 74. He appeared in the films “Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory,” “Dead and Buried” and “Man of a Thousand Faces.”
