In casting news today, former 90210 alum Shenae Grimes and Rachel Melvin have been tapped to star in the new horror-thriller, The Rake from Red Band Films. The film is to be directed by Tony Wash from his own script.
According to Variety, Izabella Miko and Joey Bicicchi are also starring in the horror-thriller The Rake for Red Band Films.
The film follows three siblings as they return home to reconcile the murder of their parents 20 years earlier, and discover a startling connection to a local urban legend.
Mike Dozier will produce The Rake, while Jason Howard, Tommy Vlahopoulos and Matthew Lamothe will serve as executive producers.
The project came together after Wash’s short The Muck debuted at last year’s SXSW.
