I recently ran across this Kickstarter campaign and thought this film HAS to get made, so I thought I would do my part to help spread the word. Frank & Zed: An All Puppet Monster Movie is the brainchild of independent filmmaker Jesse Blanchard from Portland, Oregon. He and his team have spent the better part of two years working on this project. They need your help to get this short film made and Jesse has a Kickstarter page where you can help by donating what you can to the effort. This is a bloody, gory monster movie – only with puppets, what could be better than that?
The story for Frank & Zed: An All Puppet Monster Movie is simple, Centuries ago, a desperate battle left a village wasted, a new bride dead, and two mortal enemies dependent on each other for survival. Forgotten amongst the crumbling ruins, our two heroes have eked out a meager existence, each responsible for feeding the other.
One fateful day, a villager trespasses into Frank’s hunting grounds. The resulting ‘harvest’ provides Zed with a full tummy and sets the entire town on a course of bloody retribution.
Our undead heroes are out-numbered, out-axed, and falling apart but they’re not going down without orchestrating a macabre symphony of blood, guts, & felt.

Frank & Zed is a movie that has to be made, it’s a movie that if I had the talent and know-how, I would make myself, it’s something I want to see and I’m pretty sure you will too.
