Sometimes you find love in the most unexpected places!

On October 11th 2015, McKenzie Westmore and Patrick Tatopoulos tied the knot in Malibu, California. Their marriage ceremony was a semi-private event, with only 100 guests in attendance.

McKenzie Westmore is most known for playing Sheridan Crane from 1999 to 2008 on “Passions,” a soap opera that was well known for its crazy antics and supernatural subplots. Westmore also made cameo appearances in “Star Trek: The Next Generation,” “Weird Science” and “Dexter” before landing the role of host on SyFy’s hit reality show, “Face Off.” She has held the position since the show began in 2011 and it’s no secret that the actress has a particular love for special effects, being that she is the daughter of Oscar Winning guru Michael Westmore.

Patrick Tatopoulos is a world renowned production designer and creature creator who has worked on some of the biggest horror and science fiction titles in Hollywood. Just some of his credits include Independence Day, Resident Evil: Extinction, Silent Hill, Underworld: Evolution and Venom. He and McKenzie met while he was a judge on “Face Off” during the show’s first two seasons. The couple’s nuptials had to be postponed slightly to coincide with Tatopoulos working on the upcoming Batman vs. Superman: Dawn of Justice.

Congratulations, McKenzie and Patrick

“Face Off” concluded its ninth season on October 27th where Nora Hewitt was crowned as the winner. In its most difficult challenge yet, the final three contestants had to creature three original characters that would appear in short films directed by Tatopoulus.
