Mondo ‘ARMY OF DARKNESS’ & ‘NEW BARBARIANS’ OST On Sale Info!

Mondo has announced a few OST’s on sale info for a undetermined time tomorrow via their Twitter feed. First up is Sam Raimi’s Army of Darkness OST, then we have New Barbarians OST and finally they have Slasher Film Festival Strategy soundtrack. Read on below for more details.

Just in time for the next chapter in the Evil Dead saga (TV series Ash Vs. Evil Dead), Mondo is proud to release the soundtrack Sam Raimi’s Army Of Darkness.

Returning alongside star Bruce Campbell is masterful composer Joe LoDuca, who also crafted the terrifying scores to the first and second Evil Dead. Like the film, LoDuca’s score to Army Of Darkness is an ambitious blending of genre that was ahead of its time. Part swashbuckling adventure, part horror, part comedy, Army Of Darkness saw LoDuca reaching new heights with his composing – which would later become his forte – as he bounced back and forth between composing horror films and adventure televisions series such as Hercules and Spartacus.

We’re excited to finally release Claudio Simoetti’s synthtastic score to exploitation classic The New Barbarians. This ultra low-budget Italian Mad Max rip-off is hilarious and cringeworthy all in one go, and Simonetti’s score is an incredible slice of cheesy 80s action sure to put a smile on even the most jaded soundtrack fan.

With original artwork by Wes Benscoter, this incredible gatefold package is limited to 500 copies worldwide. Pressed on Sand & Cream color-in-color Vinyl, with Grey, Black and Red splatters.
