  • 2012 – Sylvia Kristel, best known for portraying “Emmanuelle” in many softcore films. She also starred in “Dracula’s Widow.”
  • 2008 – Peter Gordeno who appeared in the TV show “U.F.O.” passed away at the age of 69.
  • 2000 – Gwen Verdon who appeared in “Cocoon” and “Cocoon: the Return,” passed away at the age of 75.
  • 1965 – Henry Travers, was best known for portraying the angel “Clarence” in “It’s a Wonderful Life” and also starred in “The Bells of St. Mary’s” but he also starred in the original “The Invisible Man.” He passed on at the age of 91.
  • 1931 – Thomas A. Edison, who brought the story of “Frankenstein” to the screen for the first time in 1910, passed away at the age of 84.
