Now that’s what I call an odd pairing but who am I to judge. News today announced by Starz cable network saying Mila Kunis and Rob Zombie will team up to co-produce a horror-comedy series entitled, Trapped for the network.
Trapped is described as a a half-hour horror comedy series from Mila Kunis’ Orchard Farm Productions. Kunis is executive producing alongside cult genre filmmaker Rob Zombie (Halloween), who also will direct.
Trapped takes places over a single night in the home of a wealthy family under attack by a murderous cult. Orchard Farm’s Susan Curtis, Cami Curtis and Lisa Sterbakov also executive produce.
“We’re excited to work in partnership with Rob Zombie as well as Mila Kunis and her Orchard Farm Productions associates Susan Curtis, Cami Curtis and Lisa Sterbakov on this horror comedy series,” Starz Managing Director Carmi Zlotnik said.
This sounds like it could be interesting. Starz is also the home of Bruce Campbell’s upcoming new horror series, Ash vs. Evil Dead which will debut on Halloween for the network.
