• 2006 – Ed Warren, 1/2 of the husband and wife demonologist team that investigated many high profile haunting and possession cases including the house in which the Amityville Haunting was based on. He and his wife were portrayed in the recent blockbuster hit “The Conjuring.” He passed away at the age of 79.
• 2005 – Brock Peters, who appeared in “Soylent Green,” “Star Trek IV: The Voyage Home,” “Star Trek VI: The Undiscovered Country” and “Alligator II: The Mutation,” passed away at the age of 78.
• 2002 – Dennis Fimple, who played “Grampa Hugo” in “House of 1000 Corpses,” passed away at the age of 61. He also appeared in the 1976 version of “King Kong” and “Creature From Black Lake.” He is best known for his role as “Elwood” on the TV show “Petticoat Junction.”
• 1975 – Hank Patterson, had appeared in “Monster on the Campus”, “Earth vs the Spider”, “Attack of the Puppet People”, “The Amazing Colossal Man”, “Beginning of the End”, “Tarantula” and more. He passed at the age of 86.
• 1966 – Francis X. Bushman, who appeared in the films “12 To the Moon,” “Phantom Planet” and “Ghost In the Invisible Bikini,” passed away at the age of 83.
