  • 1999 – Charles Macaulay who appeared in the films “The House of Seven Corpses,” “The Twilight People” and “Dracula” in the film “Blacula,” passed away at the age of 71.
  • 1986 – Helen Mack who appeared in “Son of Kong,” passed away at the age of 72.
  • 1984 – Alberto Lupo who played “The Atom Age Vampire,” passed away at the age of 59.
  • 1946 – H.G. Wells passed away at the age of 79. He was the author of such classic novels as “The Island of Dr. Moreau”, “The Invisible Man”, “The Shape of Things to Come”, “The Time Machine”, “The War of the Worlds”, “The Food of the Gods”, “Empire of the Ants”, all of which have been adapted into films, some of them multiple times.
