For Elena Michaels life is extremely complicated, to say the least. Beneath that beautiful, athletic, articulate, friendly demeanor is actually a violent werewolf that she transforms into whenever threatened…or when she just wants to go for a run. Throughout season one of “Bitten,” based on the book series by Kelley Armstrong, Elena found herself struggling to balance the normal human life she so desperately desired with her allegiance to her pack, a small group of werewolves who are kin to her through sires. Oh, and let’s not forget – Elena is the only female werewolf to ever exist. This desire for a normal life changed, though, when her former lover’s head was found in her bed. Now it’s all about finding the monster who killed him and exacting her revenge. And just to complicate things more, a group of witches start to interfere with intentions of their own…as does a shady, secret government task force.
