Lucky “Bitten” fans in Canada are just about halfway through season two of the werewolf drama based on the book series by Kelley Armstrong. While the series has been receiving stellar ratings on Space Channel in Canada, fans across the world have been anxiously awaiting the show’s return after it was renewed for a second season in May 2014 after a killer cliffhanger. Well, finally, it’s safe to howl at the moon as “Bitten” will return to SyFy on April 17th. Not only that, but it will be with a two hour premiere.
“Bitten” is executively produced by Daegan Fryklind and J.B. Sugar. Lead actors include Laura Vandervoort (“Smallville”), Greyston Holt (See No Evil 2), Greg Byrk (Saw V, Saw 3D), Steve Lund (“Haven”), Michael Xavier (“The Best Years”), and Genelle Williams (“Warehouse 13”). Season two sees the addiction of supporting cast members Tammy Isbell (“Paradise Falls”), Sean Rogerson (“Grave Encounters”), Tommie-Amber Pirie, and Kiara Glasco.
Season one of “Bitten” saw Elena (Vandervoort), the only known female werewolf to ever exist, as she struggled to balance her desire for a normal life as it collided with her loyalty to her Pack as they faced opposition from a gang of rogue werewolves who wanted to take over the hierarchy. Season two, though, is all about revenge and mystery as Elena seeks out the man who murdered her former lover while confronting a secret government-ran organization… and oh, yeah, there’s witches, too! Sounds like it’ll be one Hell of a 10 episode second season!
Don’t forget to tune in to the 2-hour premiere of “Bitten” season-2 on April 17th only on SyFy!
