The latest casting news for Rob Zombie’s upcoming horror film, 31 is a great one. Malcolm McDowell has been cast in the film as “Father Murder.” McDowall is a legendary actor who came to prominence in A Clockwork Orange and has been in scores of films and TV since. Also of note is filming has begun on 31 and we hope to get regular updates here.

DAY ONE of filming 31 has been completed so I thought it was time to share another awesome addition to the cast. We now present MALCOLM McDOWELL as FATHER MURDER the owner of MURDER WORLD.
Malcolm is a movie legend appearing in everything from A Clockwork Orange, O Lucky Man! and If… to Time After Time and Halloween.
He joins the previously announced Judy Geeson as “Sister Dragon”, David Ury as “Schizo-Head”, Daniel Roebuck as “Pastor Victor”, Lawrence Hilton-Jacobs as “Panda Thomas,” the manager of a traveling roadshow known as “The Venus Lux Happy Time Fun Show,” E.G. Daily as the character “Sex-Head,” and Torsten Voges as “Death-Head.”
31 is, in part, a crowdfunded endeavor that will allow Zombie’s legions of fans to be involved from the ground up with his latest project. “I wish something like this had existed when I was a kid,” Zombie explained. “I would have killed to be part of so many movies. Even being involved in the smallest way would have been awesome.”

Synopsis:
31 follows five carnival workers who are kidnapped the night before Halloween and held hostage in a large secret compound known as Murder World. Once there, they have 12 hours to survive a terrifying game called 31 in which ‘The Heads’- murderous maniacs dressed as clowns – are released to hunt them down and kill them.
