Hot on the heels of yesterday’s casting news for Rob Zombie’s upcoming horror film, 31, comes yet another casting announcement. David Ury has signed on to play a murderous villain called “Schizo-Head” in the film.
Per Rob Zombie’s Facebook page:
David Ury has joined the ever growing cast of 31 as SCHIZO-HEAD, one half of murderous team of brothers living inside Murder World.
David has appeared in everything from Breaking Bad to American Horror Story. He is also a regular on the hit show Grimm.
He joins the previously announced Daniel Roebuck as “Pastor Victor”, Lawrence Hilton-Jacobs as “Panda Thomas,” the manager of a traveling roadshow known as “The Venus Lux Happy Time Fun Show,” E.G. Daily as the character “Sex-Head,” and Torsten Voges as “Death-Head.”
31 is, in part, a crowdfunded endeavor that will allow Zombie’s legions of fans to be involved from the ground up with his latest project. “I wish something like this had existed when I was a kid,” Zombie explained. “I would have killed to be part of so many movies. Even being involved in the smallest way would have been awesome.”
Fans will have access to exclusive VIP experiences involving the film and Zombie’s music career. In addition to the wide range of VIP experiences, fans can also get their hands on exclusive merch and original props from Zombie’s films. Check out the campaign, which is being hosted at RZ-31. There’s still time left to get in on it!
