There’s a new kid on the block in the world of comic book and graphic novel publishing. Hashtag Comics is a new publisher based in the DC Metro Area. They have teamed with Diamond Comic Distributors to distribute their books in comic book shops across the country.
This year marks the publishing debut of Hashtag Comics as well as its first appearance at local and national conventions. Working in conjunction with several retailers the writers and artists of Hashtag Comics will also be doing dozens of in-store signings across the country.
The publisher’s first comic was the children’s series Tailwands: Kaya’s Journey Begins, but what makes this new company so appealing to horror fans is their upcoming new horror comics.
Hashtag’s second comic series which will hit stores in late April is a very impressive looking new horror comic called Carpe Noctem (Latin for “Seize the Night”). Carpe Noctem is a vampire tale that will feature all manner of monsters including zombies, goblins, Cthulu’s daughter and also a steampunk Frankenstein’s monster.
Hashtag also has announced a second horror title called A Time To Die and other tales.
Carpe Noctem is the ongoing monthly series that shows you the REAL Las Vegas. It’s a supernatural horror with a wonderful twist, showing you that sometimes “What Stays in Vegas, Lives Forever”. Carpe Noctem will hit comic shelves on April 21, 2015. We have a cover preview for you below.
