Word has come in tonight that director Nicolas Winding Refn (Drive) has chosen Australian supermodel-turned-actress Abbey Lee to star in his female driven horror film The Neon Demon. She will be starring alongside previously cast Elle Fanning in the film.
She’s negotiating to play the role of Sarah. This comes after the Australian supermodel co-starred in George Miller’s Mad Max for Warner Bros and Gods Of Egypt for Summit/Lionsgate.
In Neon Demon, she plays a cool ringleader of a maniacal group of models. Neon Demon is co-financed and co-distributed by Gaumont and Wild Bunch and shooting at the end of March in Los Angeles.
