- 1995 – William Sylvester, appeared in “Buck Rogers in the 25th Century (TV Series)”, “The Six Million Dollar Man (TV Series)”, “Don’t Be Afraid of the Dark”, “2001: A Space Odyssey”, “Devil Doll”, “Gorgo” and more. He passed away at 72.
- 1991 – Lilian Bond, who appeared in the original version of “The Old Dark House,” “Man in the Attic” and “The Picture of Dorian Gray,” passed away at the age of 83.
- 1977 – Donald Kerr, who had bit roles in “Abbott & Costello Meet Dr. Jekyll & Mr. Hyde,” “Abbott & Costello Meet The Invisible Man” and “Flash Gordon’s Trip To Mars,” passed away at the age of 85.
- 1970 – Eiji Tsuburaya, who was the Toho effects genius, passed away at the age of 85. He not only created their famous logo, but did the incredible effects for numerous films starting with the original “Gojira” in 1954, right up to “Godzilla’s Revenge” which was released a month before his death.
