  • 1980 – Zooey Deschanel, who starred in “The Happening,” “Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy” and the TV mini-series “Tin Man.”
  • 1979 – Lowell Dean, director of “Wolfcop” and “13 Eerie.”
  • 1977 – Leigh Whannel, who created the “Saw” franchise. He wrote the screenplays for the first three films and starred as “Adam” in the first. He was executive producer for the remainder of the films in the series. He also wrote the screenplay for the film “Dead Silence”, “Insidious” and “Insidious: Chapter 2″.
  • 1975 – Freddy Rodriguez, who starred in the films “Planet Terror,” “Lady in the Water” and the TV series “Six Feet Under.”
  • 1969 – Naveen Andrews, who starred in the TV series “Lost” and appeared in the 2002 remake of “Rollerball,” the 1998 remake of “Mighty Joe Young” and the film “Planet Terror.”
  • 1962 – Jim Carrey, who starred in the films “Once Bitten,” “Earth Girls Are Easy,” “The Mask,” “Batman Forever” and “The Number 23.” He also provided the voice of “Scrooge” in the 2009 animated version of “A Christmas Carol.”
  • 1942 – Nancy Parsons who played “Ida Smith” in the film “Motel Hell.”
  • 1931 – The voice of “Darth Vader,” James Earl Jones. He also appeared in the films “Dr. Strangelove, or: How I Learned To Stop Worrying and Love the Bomb,” “Exorcist II: The Heretic” and “Conan O’Brien the Barbarian.”
  • 1927 – Eartha Kitt who was the second woman to play “The Catwoman” on the “Batman” TV series. She also appeared in the films “The Serpent Warriors” and “Ernest Scared Stupid.”
  • 1925 – Patricia Owens, who appeared in the films “Ghost Ship” (1952) and the original “Fly.”
  • 1922 – Betty White, who played the foul mouthed “Mrs. Delores Bickerman” in the film “Lake Placid.”
  • 1904 – Patsy Ruth Miller, who starred with Lon Chaney in the 1923 silent version of “The Hunchback of Notre Dame.”
  • 1867 – The “Father” of Universal Pictures, Carl Laemmle.
