Who knew that when Laurie Strode (played by Jamie Lee Curtis) told Lindsey Wallace (played by Kyle Richards) to run to the neighbors house to escape the attacking Michael Myers, she ran all the way to Beverly Hills instead!
Kyle Richards may not have been a name talent in the world of acting and performance, but she worked very steadily from the late 70s to the mid 90s. Some of her more horror based roles include Eaten Alive (1977), The Car (1977), Halloween (1978), The Watcher in the Woods (1980), and Curfew (1989). Her most noteworthy roles outside of our favorite genre include recurring roles in “Little House on the Prairie” from 1975-1982 and “E.R.” from 1998-2006.
Just a few years after that she married high end Los Angeles real estate broker Mauricio Umansky, had a few children, and managed to become a featured personality on the hit reality show “The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” from 2010 to the present. The show’s fifth season is currently airing on Bravo. Being part of the “Housewives” brand has allowed Kyle Richards to publish a book, open her own fashion line, and to participate with several charities.
Still, it looks like she is still proud of her roots to Halloween, as she appeared in the 2010 documentary Halloween: The Inside Story.
