  • 1974 – Stepahnie Meyer, who wrote the “Twilight” books. She is producing the last two films of the series.
  • 1957 – Scott Spiegel, producer/actor/director – jack of all trades and crony of Sam Raimi, Bruce Campbell. He worked on the films “Evil Dead”, “Evil Dead II”, “Darkman”, “Intruder”, “From Dusk Till Dawn 2: Texas Blood Money”, “Hostel: Part III” and more.
  • 1954 – Kazunori Itô who wrote the screen plays for the films “Gamera, Guardian of the Universe,” “Necronomicon,” “Gamera 2: Assault of the Legion” and “Gamera 3: The Awakening of Iris.”
  • 1945 – Nicholas Meyer, who directed the films “Time After Time,” “Star Trek II: the Wrath of Kahn” and “Star Trek IV: the Undiscovered Country.”
  • 1944 – Katsuhiko Saski, who appeared in the films “Terror of Mechagodzilla,” “Godzilla vs. Biolante” and “Evil of Dracula.”
  • 1923 – David F. Friedman, who has produced such films as “Blood Feast,” “2,000 Maniacs” and “2001 Maniacs.”
  • 1910 – Writer Fritz Leiber, Jr., who penned the novel “Conjure Wife” on which the films “Weird Woman” and “Burn, Witch Burn” were based. He also appeared in the 1970 film “Equinox.”
  • 1906 – Composer Franz Waxman, who did the scores for such films as “The Bride of Frankenstein,” “The Invisible Ray,” “Devil-Doll,” and the original “Twilight Zone” TV series.
