  • 2000 – Diminutive actor Billy Barty, who appeared in the films “Bride of Frankenstein,” (he was the tiny baby in the jar), “Masters of the Universe,” and the TV series “H.R. Pufnstuf,” passed away at the age of 76.
  • 1998 – David Manners who portrayed “Jonathan Harker” in the original 1931 version of “Dracula” and appeared in the films “The Black Cat” and the original “Mummy,” passed away at the age of 97.
  • 1995 – Patric Knowles who appeared in the films “The Wolf Man,” “Frankenstein Meets the Wolf Man” and “Terror in the Wax Museum,” passed away at the age of 84.
  • 1979 – Ernest B. Schoedsack, director of such films as “King Kong,” “Son of Kong,” “Mighty Joe Young” and “Dr. Cyclops,” passed away at the age of 86.
