- 1988 – Emily Browning, who appears in “Ghost Ship,” “Darkness Falls,” “Lemony Snicket’s A Series of Unfortunate Events”, “The Uninvited” (2009) and “Sucker Punch.”
- 1979 – Ayako Fujitani who starred in “Gamera, Guardian of the Universe,” “Gamera 2: Assault of the Legion” and “Gamera 3: The Awakening of Isis.
- 1966 – C. Thomas Howell, who starred in “E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial,” the 2009 version of “The Land That Time Forgot,” “War of the Worlds 2,” “The Hitcher,” and played serial killer “Kenneth Bianchi” in “The Hillside Strangler.”
- 1955 – Priscilla Barnes, best know for replacing Suzanne Sommers on “Three’s Company.” She starred in the films “Tintorera,” “Stepfather III,” “The Devil’s Reject’s” and “Trailer Park of Terror.”
- 1949 – Singer Tom Waits, who portrayed “Renfield” in the 1992 version of “Dracula” and also appeared in the films “Wolfen” and “The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus.” His music has also been used in numerous movie soundtracks.
- 1945 – Screenplay writer W. D. Richter, whose work includes the 1978 version of “Invasion of the Body Snatchers,” the 1979 version of “Dracula,” and “Needful Things.”
- 1923 – Ted Knight, best known for playing “Ted Baxter” on the Mary Tyler Moore TV show. He appeared at the end of the film “Psycho” as one of the officers guarding Norman Bates and also did voice over work on many, many cartoon series including “The Superfriends,” “Scooby Doo” and the animated “Star Trek” series.
- 1915 – Eli Wallach, who has starred in such films as “The Sentinel,” “The Deep” and the TV movie “The Chill Factor.”
- 1910 – Rod Cameron, who appeared in the films as “The Monster and the Girl,” “The Electronic Monster” and “Psychic Killer.”
- 1909 – Arch Oboler, who wrote, directed and produced the films “The Twonky,” “Five” and “The Bubble.” He was also writer/director/host/producer of NBC Radio’s “Lights Out.”
- 1901 – Jack Dietz, who produced the films “The Black Scorpion,” “The Beast From 20,000 Fathoms” and “Return of the Ape Man.”
- 1874 – Harry Stubbs, who appeared in “The Wolf Man,” “Frankenstein Meets the Wolf Man,” and “The Mummy’s Hand.”
