  • 2006 – Writer/director/producer Don Dohler, passed away at the the age of 60. His films include “The Alien Factor,” “Nightbeast,” “Stakes” and “Fiend.”
  • 2004 – Schlockmeister Larry Buchanan, who wrote, directed and produced the films “The Eye Creatures,” “Zontar The Thing From Venus” and “In The Year 2889,” passed away at the age of 81.
  • 1990 – Robert Cummings who starred in the films “Flesh & Fantasy,” “Dial M For Murder” and the “King Nine Will Not Return” episode of “The Twilight Zone,” passed away at the age of 82.
  • 1982 – Marty Feldman, who played “Igor” in the film “Young Frankenstein,” (“Damn your eyes!” “Too late!”) passed away at the age of 49.
  • 1953 – George Kirby, who played bit parts in such films as “The Invisible Man’s Revenge,” “Were Wolf of London” and “Dracula’s Daughter,” passed away at the age of 74.
  • 1814 – Famous torturer and novelist Marquis de Sade, passed away at the age of 74.
