Being the werewolf aficionado that I am, I have mixed feelings for the abundance of lycanthropic films that are coming out as of late. Most of these films seem to be pure crap with bad creature effects or cheesy CGI. One exception to this is the upcoming werewolf thriller from Dark Sky Films, Late Phases. I’ve been following this film for quite a while now and it looks like it has potential to be one of the best werewolf films in years. We have the brand new trailer for the film that looks pretty awesome. Check it out down below.
Look for Late Phases to transform into theaters on November 21st, 2014.
Late Phases is written by Eric Stolze (Under the Bed) and directed by Spanish filmmaker Adrián García Bogliano (Cold Sweat, Here Comes the Devil). The film stars Nick Damici, Ethan Embry, Lance Guest, Tina Louise, Rutanya Alda, Caitlin O’Heaney, Erin Cummings, Tom Noonan, Larry Fessenden.
Plot Synopsis
Ambrose McKinley, a cantankerous blind vet, moves into a retirement community only to learn the residents there have been dying, not from old age, but from dog attacks. After surviving his own encounter with a canine one night, Ambrose comes to believe the assailants are much more than mere dogs…
