The Jasons is a horror punk band from Camp Crystal Lake, aka West Virginia. I have known about The Jasons for some time now after seeing them wonder around Shockacon last year. I attended Shockacon again this year and this band was sharing a table with the Transylvania Pogo Punk band The Renfields (wonder why their shared a table?). The Jasons had an EP available for just a few dollars so I grabbed it. I try to support anything horror but I am more dedicated to supporting anything from my home state.
Recently, The Jasons revealed via their Facebook page their full length album is now available for order and they released a new video for their song Camp Arawak which is about the classic 1983 slasher Sleepaway Camp. You can check that video out below and order the album here!
