2001 – Teen idol Troy Donahue, passed away at the age of 65.He made brief appearances in “The Monolith Monsters” and “Man Of A Thousand Faces” (now available on DVD from Universal), and appeared in “Monster On Campus” and “Rocket To The Moon.”

2000 – Curt Siodmak, who wrote the screenplays for such Universal classics as “Frankenstein Meets the Wolf Man” and “House of Frankenstein,” as well as creating the legend of “The Wolf Man,” passed away at the age of 98.

1964 – Character actor Morris Ankrum, passed away at the age of 68. His film work included “Giant From the Unknown,” “The Giant Claw” and “Zombies of Mora Tau.”
