2012 – Italian Special makeup effects wizard Carlo Rambaldi. He created creatures for such films as “Silver Bullet”, “E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial”, “Alien”, “Close Encounters of the Third Kind”, “King Kong” 1976, “Deep Red” and many more. He passed away at the age of 86.

2008 – Acclaimed musician and actor Isaac Hayes. He appeared in “Return to Sleepaway Camp”, “Uncle Sam”, “Soul Survivors”, “Escape from New York” and more. He also voiced the character of “Chef” in South Park (TV Series).” He was 65.

2002 – “B” Movie director, Doris Wishman, passed away at the age of 82. Her numerous films included “Nude on the Moon,” “Bad Girls Go to Hell,” and “The Amazing Transplant.”

1979 – Dick Foran who appeared in “The Mummy’s Hand,” “The Mummy’s Tomb” and “The Atomic Submarine,” passed away at the age of 69.

1976 – Stuntman Ray “Crash” Corrigan, who played the title role of “The Ape,” “It, the Terror From Beyond Space” and appeared in “The Zombies of Mora Tau,” passed away at the age of 74.

1970 – Toho effects whiz Eiji Tsuburaya, passed away at the age of 69.
