Front woman Jill Janus on the upcoming tour:
“North America, prepare for facemelting! HUNTRESS is stoked to join the coveted Arch Enemy tour this fall. It’s an exciting time for women in heavy metal; we’re honored to be touring with Arch Enemy as the new era with Alissa White-Gluz begins. Kreator joining this killer tour makes us ecstatic, having been fans for many years. HUNTRESS is ready to rage!”
Whenever they have a free moment, the band is hard at work on their third studio album. Andrew Alekel (Foo Fighters, No Doubt, Queens of the Stone Age, Clutch) and James A. Rota (Sound City, Fireball Ministry) will be handling production duties on the upcoming release. More info and news on HUNTRESS’ new album will be made available soon.
HUNTRESS is ascending rapidly within the ranks of heavy metal. The band released their debut album Spell Eater in 2012, followed closely by Starbound Beast in 2013. They toured relentlessly in 2013, supporting mega metal acts Lamb of God, Danzig and touring with the Rockstar Energy Drink Mayhem Festival. HUNTRESS continues their quest to bring true heavy metal to the masses. Their video for the song “Zenith” (directed by Phil Mucci) is blowing minds and was nominated for The Revolver Magazine Golden God Award in the “Best Film and Video” category. HUNTRESS’Best Music Video Lists 2013: #1 Daily Gridhouse, #1 The Church of Metal, Video of the Year Unsung Melody, #3 Noisecreep, #4 Revolver Magazine, #4 Loudwire. Starbound Beast was also voted #5 in LA Weekly’s Best L.A. Metal Albums of 2013 List.

Starbound Beast, is out now on Napalm Records. The album is available for purchase on iTunes, Amazon, and in Best Buy stores in the US.
HUNTRESS was spawned from the preternatural union of Jill Janus with underground metal bands Professor and Dark Black. They thrive on thundering drums, heavy riffs, spectral solos and catchy choruses that come from the band’s musical concoction of occult science and bong rips. HUNTRESS remains true to the roots of melodic heavy metal with a penchant for thrash, death and black metal.
