Casting news has developed for the upcoming sequel, Insidious: Chapter 3 as it’s being reported that Stefanie Scott (A.N.T. Farm) has been cast to star in the film. The third film in the successful franchise will be both written and directed by Leigh Whannell.
According to Deadline, Stefanie Scott is set to star in Insidious: Chapter 3, the third installment of Focus Features, eOne, Sony Pictures Worldwide Acquisitions, and Blumhouse Productions‘ hit horror franchise.
Plot and character details are being kept under wraps. The threequel will be written and directed by Leigh Whannell (Saw, Insidious) in his helming debut.
Production is slated to begin on the film this July for an intended April 3, 2015 release.
Jason Blum is producing the third installment again for Blumhouse alongside Oren Peli and James Wan.
