1933 – John Boorman, who directed the films “Exorcist II: The Heretic,” “Zardoz” and “Excalibur.”

1908 – Lilian Bond, who appeared in the films “Man In the Attic,” “The Picture of Dorian Gray” and “The Old Dark House” (1932).

1892 – Oliver Hardy, who played the “Tin Man” in the 1925 silent version of “The Wizard of Oz.” He starred with Stan Laurel in the film “A-Haunting We Will Go,” and the shorts “Oliver The Eight,” The Laurel And Hardy Murder Case” and “The Live Ghost.”
