2011 – Ken Russell, directed such films as “The Devils”, “Altered States”, “Gothic”, “The Lair of the White Worm”, and many more.  He passed away at the age of 84.

2010 – Irvin Kershner, director of the films “Eyes of Laura Mars”, “Star Wars: Episode V – The Empire Strikes Back”, “RoboCop 2”.

1988 – The one and only John Carradine, who played role of “Dracula” in such Universal classics as “House of Frankenstein” and “House of Dracula,” passed away at the age of 82. He started at Universal playing bit parts in such films as “The Black Cat,” “The Invisible Man,” and “Bride of Frankenstein.”

1978 – Richard Kelton who played “Ficus” on the short-lived TV series “Quark,” passed away at the age of 35.
