2007 – Reg Park, who played “Hercules” in a series of films in the 60’s, passed away at the age of 79.

2002 – Joan Barclay, who appeared in the films “The Corpse Vanishes,” “Black Dragons” (both with Bela Lugosi) and “The Seventh Victim,” passed away at the age of 88.

1986 – Scatman Crothers, (the voice of “Hong Kong Phooey”) who appeared in the films “The Shining” and “Twilight Zone: The Movie,” passed away at the age of 76.

1984 – John Gilling, British director of such films as “Vampire Over London”, “The Flesh and the Fiends”, “The Plague of the Zombies”, “The Reptile”, “The Mummy’s Shroud”, and “Cross of the Devil”.

1983 – Michael Conrad, best known for playing “Sergeant Phil Esterhaus” on the TV series “Hill Street Blues,” passed away at the age of 58. He appeared in the film Scream, Blacula Scream.”
