Have all you fiends out there had a chance to see yet? I really hope all the negative publicity didn’t turn you off seeing it because it really is a good film. The film was a runaway hit for Paramount and Brad Pitt’s Plan B production company, and its unlikely success pretty much guaranteed that a sequel would be inevitable. Pitt has stated before that a sequel was always in the picture, but now they will have to find a new director.
While speaking to The Hollywood Reporter, Pitt states that his Plan B also is developing a sequel to Z, which still is in its nascent stages, though director Marc Forster won’t be back. “We are talking about it,” says Pitt. “We are going to investigate a script. We have a lot of ideas we will cull from. Nobody is writing just yet, but we are compiling our ideas.”
Given all the problems and negative publicity associated with the film, Pitt and his production team must feel vindicated with the success of the movie. Keep it here to Horror Society for the latest regarding the sequel.
