2006 – Hirotaka Suzuoki, who provided voices for many Japanese cartoon series such as “Star Blazers,” “Dragon Ball Z” and “Robotech,” passed away at the age of 56.

2001 – Robert Dunham who appeared in the films “Dagora, the Space Monster,” “The Green Slime” and “Godzilla vs. Megalon,” passed away at the age of 70.

1964 – Considered one of the greatest character actors of all time, Sir Cedric Hardwicke passed away at the age of 71. He starred in the films “The Invisible Man Returns,” “Ghost of Frankenstein” and the 1939 version of “The Hunchback of Notre Dame.”

1938 – Warner Oland, who starred as “Charlie Chan” in a series of films in the 30’s, and as “Dr. Yogami” in the film “WereWolf of London,” passed away at the age of 57.
