Here at Horror Society we love our independent films and filmmakers, they’re the backbone of the industry. Many times the only good stories coming out of Hollywood and around the country are those coming from the independent filmmakers rather than the big budget affairs. One of those independent filmmakers with a true talent is writer/actor/director Gregory Blair. Blair won the 2013 EOTM (Entrepreneurs On The Move ) Award for Best Director of an Indie Horror Film for the feature Deadly Revisions during last nights award ceremony.

Gregory Blair won Best Director of an Indie Horror Film for the feature ‘Deadly Revisions’ at last night’s 2103 EOTM Awards ceremony held at the Pacific Design Center in West Hollywood. The EOTM Awards were presented by the EOTM Radio & TV Network to celebrate entrepreneurial achievements and performances in business, philanthropy and the arts.
In a celebrity-studded, red-carpet event, Blair accepted his award along with veterans Marla Gibbs and Barbara Niven, relative new-comers Brandon Tyler Russell and Tara Nicole Azarian, as well as current favorites Vincent Ward and Teangelo.
“The nomination came as a complete surprise,” Blair said. “To win is an even bigger surprise. I am truly honored to be considered worthy of being in such fine company. And I’m most excited to have the opportunity to meet a few of my peers and to see some of them recognized for their achievements, including Dawna Lee Heising who won Outstanding TV Talk Show Host.”
The EOTM Award is the newest accolade associated with ‘Deadly Revisions’. The original screenplay was a finalist in the Horror Screenplay Contest and the teaser trailer for the film was honored with a screening at the inaugural New Media Film Festival. The film tells the tale of a horror film writer who wakes from a coma with no memory of how he got there. With the help of a hypnotherapist, he begins to get images of a terrifying past; one where killers from his own films are after him. But the images can’t be real. Or can they? “In ‘Deadly Revisions’,” Blair says, “Remembering can be murder!”
Now, with an EOTM Award under its belt, it looks like remembering Gregory Blair and ‘Deadly Revisions’ will be easy…and without a body count.
