Fundraising: Night of The Demons: After-Party

This has bad ass written all over it, and yes, this is a legitimate installment in the Night Of The Demons franchise!

Kevin Tenney, the director of the original Night of The Demons, is back for a third sequel. For those of you who were unaware, the cult movie Night of The Demons spawned two sequels (one of which Tenney wrote and assistant directed) as well as a remake a few years ago. Mostly due to success of the remake, Tenney is planting his ass back in the Demon‘s producer chair to bring you a new installment in the franchise – Night of The Demons: After-Party.

As far as the plot is concerned, the only thing Tenney has let slip is that it will take place in a cemetery where a bunch of party goers will turn into demons. Although the film won’t start shooting until this summer or the fall, with a release expected for Halloween 2014, there are a few noteworthy members already attached to this project. Of course Kevin Tenney (also responsible for the Witchblade franchise) will be producing. Anthony Hickox (known for Waxwork franchise and Hellraiser III) will be directing based off the script by Sean Tretta. Adam Gierasch and Jace Anderson will be producing Night of The Demons: After-Party as well, and Gabe Bartalos (Leprechaun, Basketcase) will be doing special effects. Harry Manfredini (Friday The 13th, Swamp Thing) will be composing original music for this feature. The only confirmed cast member for this sequel is reigning scream queen Tiffany Shepis, who appeared in the remake in 2009. She will be reprising her role of “Diana” in the new movie.

Now, with the team behind Night of The Demons: After-Party being so talented and well-known, obviously they have enough between them to fund the movie themselves…sort of. They have a lot of money already, but are using Kickstarter to get the remaining quarter million from horror fans.
