2005 – Anne Bancroft passed away at the age of 73. She appeared in her husband, Mel Brooke’s film “Dracula: Dead And Loving It” (as the gypsy woman, “Madame Ouspenskaya”), and the film “Gorilla At Large. She was offered the role of “Chris McNeil” in “The Exorcist” but had to turn it down due to her pregnancy.
2005 – Dana Elcar, who appeared in the films “Fail Safe,” “2010” and played “Sheriff Patterson” on the original “Dark Shadows,” passed away at the age of 77.
1994 – Barry Sullivan who appeared in the TV pilot of “Night Gallery” and the film “Planet of the Vampires,” passed away at the age of 81

1940 – Famed character actor E.E. Clive, who appeared in the Universal classics “The Invisible Man,” “Bride of Frankenstein” and “Dracula’s Daughter,” passed away at the age of 60.
