Here is an upcoming horror film that needs a little help gaining extra funds. I’m going to give this indiegogo campaign extra attention for two reasons. Reason #1 – The Legend of Six Fingers is the latest feature from Sam Qualiana, who has appeared in over eighteen other projects, most notably the Porkchop franchise. Reason #2 – Mr. Qualiana has a track record for actually releasing projects. His last feature, Snow Shark: Ancient Snow Beast, is available on Amazon and in some stores. And, ok, I guess there is a third reason – Debbie Rochon has already filmed three scenes for this. Come on, guys, Debbie Frickin’ Rochon is in this!
The Legend of Six Fingers is a microbudget horror film made with practical special effects and will be filmed outside Buffalo, New York. Six Fingers promises to combine two horror film subgenres – monster movies (such as The Creature from The Black Lagoon, and The Legend of Boggy Creek) and found footage films (such as Paranormal Activity, and Cloverfield). Other personel attached to this feature include Gregory Lamberson (Slime City), Craig Lindberg (I Am Legend), Andrew Elias, and Chris Rados.
The Legend of Six Fingers follows, “Two filmmakers, Neil and Andrew, who decide to make a documentary about a rash of domestic animal slaughters. After interviewing several local residents, the filmmakers learn about the Native American legend of Yá·yahk osnúhsaˀ – “Six Fingers” in English, a bipedal creature not unlike Bigfoot, so named because it has three claws on each hand. Believing that Six Fingers is responsible for the animal slayings, the filmmakers set out on a terrifying journey into the woods to learn the truth.”
