We have a rather impressive fan film from filmmaker Chris R. Notarile entitled Krueger: Another Tale From Elm Street. The short is produced by Blinky Productions and is actually the second film the director has made about Fred Krueger before he became the iconic dream slasher. The short is only 6 minutes long, so I’m sure you have time to squeeze it in, you won’t be disappointed, check it out below.
Plot Synopsis
In Springwood, long before he became a demon of dreams, Freddy Krueger stalked the streets under another name – The Springwood Slasher. A little girl will learn why she should never get into a stranger’s car.
Don’t anyone fall for this, This film is a plagiarised rip off from “Son of a Hundred Maniacs”, actually the teaser if that for the fan film. Chris and Roberto have claimed (Roberto mostly for that part, while Chris hides behind his computer away from the tough critics that he obviously cannot take, like the coward he is) that they knew nothing of this project, HOWEVER a few sources whom have worked with Chris say otherwise, and rushed their production just so theirs was out first and so they would round up their hits for now. and even know the Krueger tales were before Son of a Hundred maniacs, even the FIRST ONE was as well indeed another stolen project Chris R Notarile has copied from and like all of his other half ass movies rushed, placed up on youtube all just so he shares his films with the stars with the movies, and PLEADS AND HOPES that they bring him into Hollywood, because he feel he can league with the big dogs… SORRY CHRIS, but for someone who only a few years back, bitches, crys and complains that Rob Zombie STOLE their dream of remaking Halloween, recycle it into a crap movie like Methodic, and then be a hypocrite and then STEAL someone elses dreams away, then you don’t deserve that spotlight. People might enjoy your films, but they will never respect a human being who doesn’t respect his fans and beats and solicitates his female actors, no wonder your ex-girlfriends and wife called it off with you.
This Mary Hatchet Mattock chick is completely full of it and has NO IDEA what she’s talking about!
Chris Notarile has been making Freddy based fan films since 2004. His first KRUEGER short came out in the summer of 2011. I, and many other fans have been asking for another prequel film from Chris ever since. These are FAN FILMS. It is impossible to plagiarize existing licensed material because you can’t sell it and the ideas are widely distributed in the original series. That Maniacs film she keeps mentioning released their trailer a year and a half AFTER the first Krueger film and is a reimagining of Freddy while the Krueger films are canon to the original series. Other than the title character, there is NO similarity between them. I will not stoop to Mary’s level by stating lies, but sorry, the fact remains that Notarile’s film came out first. Stop spreading libelous lies that say both Krueger films were ripped off because from what I’ve heard both short films are part of a full length film script that they work from that was written in early 2011.
Roberto Lombardi never said that he never heard of the Maniacs film. He said never saw the trailer or any pictures from it. He’s also said he wishes them well and that there’s room for everyone to make fan films. We all figured out and know who your “sources” are. They were friends of Chris’ s who were on the inside and they knew Chris was going to be making another Krueger short back in early fall 2012. Then they jumped ship to the Maniacs film and told them everything Chris was planning to do. Then they rushed THEIR trailer out before Chris could release his. Ask your sources and see if they’re honest.
Calling Chris and his movies names is childish and immature and is only YOUR opinion. Thousands of fans around the world beg to differ and know the truth. Then you go and spread lies about Chris’ personal life? PATHETIC.
You better watch what you post. Ever heard of “defamation of character”?
