Boarding House is arguably one of the first films to be shot on video (S.O.V.). The film was released in 1982 and was directed by John Wintergate. The film told the story of boardinghouse that was closed in 1972 after a series of mysterious deaths plagued the building. We then jump 10 years and the home has been re-opened by the home’s new telekinetic owner.
The DVD will be released next month in May. I am unable to pinpoint the exact date but May is the release month. The DVD itself will be filled with special features including: the original version of the film remastered from original Beta tape, the rare director’s cut, a reversible cover, commentary by director, cast and crew, music videos, interviews, and alternate ending.
