TV – NBC’s ‘Grimm’ Moving to Tuesday Night

Grimm banner 2I really hate when the networks move  shows around when I’m used to them being on a certain night, but this time it actually makes sense.   Friday night is the kiss of death for any television show, because it’s one of the worst nights of the week in terms of viewership, usually most people are out and busy on Friday nights.  Traditionally, most shows do not last long in the Friday night time slot, so in that sense, I’m glad that NBC is making the move of shifting Grimm to Tuesday night.

According to Deadline, NBC is pulling the dating show Ready For Love after two airings due to low ratings and replacing it with the underrated Grimm.   Grimm is getting an upgrade. Beginning April 30, Grimm will move to the Tuesday 10 PM slot, airing behind a two-hour episode of The Voice, and will remain on Tuesday through May 21.

Hopefully this will help the series in its sophomore season earn more viewers and improve the ratings.  It’s such a terrific genre show that needs to seen by a wider audience.
