We haven’t heard much on the Nightmare on Elm Street front lately, but word has been spreading for a while now abouta new “fan film” on the subject, Son Of A Hundred Maniacs. SOAHM is a prequel to the Freddy Krueger mythology that was created for the Nightmare on Elm Street series of films. Some people may be turned off by the term “fan Made” film, which doesn’t bother me at all, as long as it’s a good film, it’s just another word for independent film.
The film delves into the backstory of the infamous child killer, Freddy Krueger, a topic I’m really surprised that nobody has touched on with any depth until now.
Independent filmmaker Andrew Daniels has written and directed the fan made prequel, Son Of A Hundred Maniacs. It stars John William Watkins, Melanie Sirois, Rainni Moran.
