Alpha Girls is an independent film about the oldest and most elite sorority in the world. Some of the most influential politicians, celebrities and scientists are Alpha Girl alumnae. After performing long hidden rituals, some of the sisters suspect that their good fortune is tainted by demonic evil. They quickly realize firsthand that the consequences of their curiosity are much more gruesome than any of them could have possibly imagined.
The sorority slasher features cameos by legendary adult-actor Ron Jeremy (Toxic Avenger, Boondock Saints) and gangster rap inventor Schoolly D (Aqua Teen Hunger Force).
Alpha Girls stars Falon Joslyn, Beverly Rivera, Nikki Bell, Kara Zhang and Nicole Cinaglia. The film was shot on location, inside a 120 year old Frat House in Philadelphia, pa.
Alpha Girls is an horror/comedy feature, written and directed by Tony Trov and Johnny Zito. They are best known for their serialized comic book Moon Girl (Red5 Comics) and the graphic novel DOGS of Mars (Image Comics). Their work centers on themes of alienation and friendship, tough girls and monsters.
The Alpha Girls soundtrack was composed by the seven piece rock band Southwork. The band’s distinct sound features horns as well as layered vocal harmonies and percussion. Immediately following the screening of Alpha Girls, Southwork will perform songs on their first album, Arise, along with tracks from the film.
